MIEN Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

MIEN is an app by Kioh, a software company in Vietnam, that helps you organize your wardrobe, get outfit suggestions, and shop smarter. This policy explains what data MIEN collects and how we protect it.

Our principle: collect only the minimum needed to make outfit suggestions work; your wardrobe and photos are yours; and we never sell your personal data.

1. Information MIEN collects

We only collect what MIEN needs to suggest outfits and help you shop:

2. How we use your data

Your data powers the features you ask for: cataloging your wardrobe, generating outfit suggestions that fit your body and suit the weather, and recommending items that match your taste, size, and budget. We also use it to respond to you, keep your account secure, and improve MIEN. We do not sell your data and do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Photos & AI features

MIEN offers an optional body scan: using your camera, it estimates your body measurements on your device with an on-device AI model. The scan images are processed on your device to produce measurements; only the resulting measurements are saved to your account, and only if you consent — the scan images themselves are not uploaded.

Other AI features send images to a trusted AI provider (Google Gemini) to process on secure servers: creating a clean image of each clothing item from your photos, generating a preview of you wearing an outfit (virtual try-on), and describing or suggesting outfits. Under our paid agreement with this provider, your images are not used to train its AI models. We never sell your photos, and do not use them for advertising.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share only with trusted service providers — such as cloud hosting and AI processing (including Google Gemini) — to the minimum extent needed to run MIEN, or where required by law.

5. Storage & security

Your account data and any photos you save to the cloud are stored on infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest, and each user can only access their own data. You can choose to keep wardrobe photos only on your device instead of the cloud. We retain data only as long as needed for the stated purposes, then delete or anonymize it.

6. Your rights

You can view, edit, or delete any item in your wardrobe — as well as your measurements, fit profile, and personal details — at any time, and you can withdraw your consent to store measurements. You may also request deletion of your account and all associated data. To make a request, contact contact@kioh.tech.

7. Children's privacy

MIEN is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as MIEN evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new update date.
